Helen Lucille Valliere, 89, of Uncasville, was born in South Dakota and enjoyed retirement in Florida with her husband.

Matthew F. Pisani, 82, of Niantic, was a championship diver in high school and served as an X-ray technician at Lawrence + Memorial Hospital.

Norman Scott Dahl, 51, of Pawcatuck, served as a member of the U.S. Navy and started his own mechanical contracting business.

Carolyn Lenore Crandall (Fish), 78, of Ledyard, was born and raised in Mystic and worked as a hairdresser at Shear Artistry in Groton.
