Martin "Marty" Zeldis, 81, of Waterford, was an advocate for the indigent and criminally accused.

Carlyle Joseph Rothen, 68, of New London, was a pipefitter at General Dynamics for a decade and coached youth baseball.

Virginia Ivy Hamler, 93, was a New London native who worked at Shalett's dry cleaners and Sears Roebuck. She later retired from General Dynamics.

Barbara L. Bennett, 87, of Groton, was an administrative aide for General Dynamics Electric Boat for 35 years.
