Rescue in New London After People Fall Through Ice

At least one person was sent to the hospital after falling through the ice at Connecticut College.

The incident happened this afternoon near ice at Arboretum on Williams Street, according to the New London firefighter union Facebook account.

It was reported that four people were rescued by boat and at least one was sent to Lawrence Memorial Hospital.
