Residents Concerned About Coyotes in New London

A couple said they found a coyote with their chihuahua in its mouth after letting the animal outside.

NEW LONDON, CT - Residents of the south end of New London are worried about coyotes attacking their pets, the New London Day reported.

A couple recently ran into an issue with coyotes three weeks after moving into their new home, according to the New London Day. Residents are reminded not to feed or interact with coyotes, the New London Day reported. Mayor Michael Passero is also currently working to hire a licensed Nuisance Wildlife Control Officer.
