Robbed at Gunpoint: Cash Taken From Honey Bee Plus Convenience Store

The alleged robbery took place the afternoon of Tuesday, May 26.

New London Police responded to a report of an armed robbery at the Honey Bee Plus Convenience Store located at 393 Colman St. in New London.

The alleged robbery took place at 4:57 p.m. Tuesday, May 26, according to New London Police Department’s Peter Reichard.

“The employees at the store stated that two men entered the store and demanded money,” he said. “One of the males displayed a handgun during the incident.”

The suspects fled the scene and were headed southbound on Colman Street with an undisclosed amount of money, according to Reichard.

No one was injured during this incident.
