School Community Mourns the "Shocking" Loss of New London Middle School Teacher
The popular teacher died this week from complications related to a heart condition.
NEW LONDON, CT - The sudden loss of a popular New London teacher has been a shock to the school community, as reported by The Day.
Erin Andrews was a STEM Magnet Middle School teacher who garnered a lot of respect from students and teachers alike, according to The Day. He died Tuesday evening from complications related to a heart condition.
According to those that knew him, Andrews’ strength as an educator was the ways in which he could easily connect to his students and colleagues, The Day reported. He was said to have an infectious smile and a positive demeanor.
