New London Officials Raise Concerns Over School Maintenance Budget
School officials are hoping no maintenance problems arise within the district's six school buildings before the fiscal year ends.

NEW LONDON, CT - New London officials said they were concerned about school maintenance at a recent meeting, the New London Day reported.
Public works officials revealed that the city’s school maintenance budget has been depleted with still three months left in the fiscal year, according to the New London Day. As such, officials are hoping no maintenance problems arise within the district’s six school buildings before the fiscal year ends.
The announcement was made at the most recent School Building and Maintenance Committee meeting, according to the New London Day. Maintenance money covers things like exterminating services and parking lot and alarm repairs.
