SCORE Opens Mentoring Location in New London

Old Saybrook, Conn. ~ SCORE, “Counselors to America’s Small Business” and business affiliate of the U.S. Small Business Administration, is pleased to announce the opening of a new mentoring location in New London this spring. With 11,000 members at 350 local chapters throughout the country, this national volunteer organization has been helping to build small businesses for over 50 years.

SCORE is currently recruiting individuals with business experience to help build our New London based team of volunteer mentors. We begin operating May 14, 2015 from offices at 147 State Street, in partnership with New London Main Street.

Are you a working, semi-retired or retired business professional with an expertise that can help small businesses overcome challenges and grow?

Do you have expertise in marketing, sales, finance, start-ups, operations, manufacturing, advertising, web design or search engine marketing? Would you like a way to ‘give back’ as a volunteer in an engaging and interesting environment?

We invite you to apply to join the SCORE mentoring team in New London. SCORE provides individuals in the local community with expert business advice and guidance at no charge. SCORE welcomes Spanish speaking and bi-lingual clients and volunteers.
