Shots Struck Vehicle, 2 Homes In New London, Police Say
An investigation is underway after two suspects got out of a car and fired handguns at another vehicle, according to police.
NEW LONDON, CT — Police are investigating after two people shot and hit a vehicle and two houses early Sunday morning.
The incident was reported at 1:23 a.m. at Rosemary Street and Bolles Avenue.
The victim was stopped at the intersection of Colman Street and Jefferson Avenue five minutes before the shooting when two males in a silver SUV shot an Orbeez-type gun at his vehicle.

The victim told police that he then followed the SUV to Rosemary Street, where the SUV turned onto Bolles Avenue.
The SUV stopped, then two males wearing black ski masks and black hoodies got out and fired handguns at the victim's vehicle. The two suspects got back into the SUV and fled.

Police found multiple shell casings at the scene of the incident. The victim's vehicle was struck by gunfire, as were two homes in the area.
No injuries were reported.
Police said the incident does not appear to be a random act.
The investigation remains active and ongoing.
