Mark your calendars for the March 19th 1 p.m. meeting of the Southeastern Connecticut Federation of Democratic Women at the New London Public Library, 63 Huntington St.
We will mark Women's History month, by honoring Ella Grasso, the 1st women in our nation to be elected to the office of governor, who did not proceed to the post after their husband.
We will show a CPTV biography of Ella Grasso, and you will find people in it, that you will remember from past political days. Invite anyone you know in the area who worked for Ella or knew her from volunteering for her campaigns.
