Spring Yard Waste Collection Scheduled In New London
The city has released details on the upcoming spring yard waste collection.
NEW LONDON, CT —Spring yard waste collection is coming up.
The collection will be on two Saturdays: April 27 and May 4.
Leave your bags curbside on those dates for collection.

The town has the following requirements:
- Brown paper Kraft bags are required and are available at retail stores
- No leaves in plastic bags
- No garbage in leaf bags
- Leaves, yard waste, grass clippings, and brush are accepted
- Small quantities of brush, tied with string and no longer than 4 feet
Leaves can also be brought to the transfer station.
