During its soft opening, Starbucks offered customers half price drinks and free beverages for veterans and active military personnel. One hundred percent of the day’s proceeds, approximately $495, were donated to Simon Youth Foundation, a national nonprofit that provides educational opportunities for at-risk high school students.
“Starbucks is a great addition to our retail lineup, and we’re excited to offer our shoppers this world-renowned option,” said Debbie Botelho, director of marketing and business development for Crystal Mall. “We’re sure it’s going to become a fast favorite at our shopping center.”
