Suspect Charged In New London Triple Stabbing: Police
Police provided an update on a triple stabbing that occurred in New London on Wednesday.

NEW LONDON, CT — A 16-year-old female has been charged in connection with a New London triple stabbing, according to police. She was charged with first-degree assault.
The New London Communications Center received a call Wednesday at 3:29 p.m. reporting a stabbing at a Connecticut Avenue home. Police responded and determined that three victims had been stabbed.
The three victims are all adults, ages 27, 29, and 35. The victims suffered serious, non-life-threatening injuries and were transported to Lawrence & Memorial Hospital for treatment.

Police said the investigation is ongoing and additional arrests are possible.
Police recovered a knife from the scene of the crime. Police said the crime was not a random act and that the suspect knew the victims.
