Taco Bell Restaurant Destroyed By Fire: New London Police
Police and the Fire Marshal's office are investigating the cause of the fire.

NEW LONDON, CT — Police are investigating an early morning fire that heavily damaged a Taco Bell at 404 Colman Street. At 5:11 AM New London Officers responded to a report of a hold up alarm at the Taco Bell restaurant.
Upon arrival, Officers observed fire coming through the roof of the building and a heavy smoke condition inside of the building, police said. New London Fire Apparatus responded and the working structure fire required a second alarm response.
Mutual Aid assistance was received from Waterford Fire Departments (Jordan/Cohanzie/Goshen/Oswegatchie/Quaker Hill) as well as SUBASE FAST Team, Mohegan FAST Team and Groton Ambulance.

Eversource electric and gas crews were also notified. It was determined that there were no injuries as a result of this incident, police said, The cause of the fire is under investigation with the New London Fire Marshal’s office.
