Career website Zippia has compiled a list of the top 100 highest paid jobs across the state, compiled from the Bureau of Labor Statistics.

According to the report, anesthesiologists are the highest paid workers in the state. Trailing behind them by $2,600 in second place are surgeons, while psychiatrists just crack the top bracket at number 5.

The list was determined by observing the BLS’s data set for all 640 job classifications in the state to identify the highest paid positions. The list also provides the entry level salary of the position, as well as the number of people in the state who hold it.
