The following information was provided by the Coast Guard Academy Athletics Department:
Nationally ranked Trinity won four singles matches and a pair of doubles matches to beat Coast Guard 6-3 in a non-conference match between the two Connecticut schools.
Austin Dean won at #2 singles for the Bears 6-4, 0-6, 10-8 while Blake Maurer won at #5 singles 6-4, 7-6 (8-6).
The Bears doubles team of Maurer and Chris Hoffman won at # 2 doubles 8-1
Coast Guard drops to 9-6 overall.
