Truck Crashes Into Home In New London: Firefighters

NEW LONDON, CT — New London firefighters said on Twitter that a pickup truck crashed into the front of a house late Monday morning. One person was transported as a result of the incident, firefighters said.

The incident occurred at a home on Colman Street, according to firefighters.

The New London Day reports that firefighters said it was not clear what caused the wreck at this time, and the impact caused significant structural damage to the building.
