Two New London Teens Charged with Leading Police On Pursuit of Stolen Mopeds: Police
Police responded to two mopeds driving erratically with a driver and passenger on each.

GROTON, CT – Police arrested two New London teens after leading police on a pursuit Tuesday on stolen mopeds, The Day reported.
Police responded to two mopeds driving erratically with a driver and passenger on each near Route 12, according to The Day. The suspects fled after police attempted to stop them, wherein one bike crashed into a tree and injured the driver while the passenger fled into the woods.
The second moped was seen traveling down the Gold Star Memorial Bridge, after which the two occupants jumped off the bike and fled, The Day reported. The mopeds were determined to have been stolen from Waterford.
