'Untimely Death' At Parking Garage Investigated: New London Police

NEW LONDON, CT — Police said they are investigating an untimely death that occurred Sunday afternoon, police said.

At 12:52 p.m., a 911 call was received by the New London Emergency Dispatch Center reporting that a person may have jumped off the top of the Water Street Parking Garage, police said.

Emergency Services personnel found an unconscious and unresponsive man, police said. The man was taken to L+M Hospital where he was pronounced dead, police said.

The man’s identity is pending confirmation and notification of family, police said. The investigation remains active.
