The city has issued a statement about a water shutoff for an area in New London.

On July 28 at 6:00PM, there will be a water main shut down between Colman St. and Mike’s Harley Davidson located at 951 Banks St. we recommend you prepare for a shut down until 6:00AM Friday July 29th. This shut down is projected to last a full 8 hours but may be longer as required.

It is suggested that you fill appropriate containers with water for drinking, cooking, and sanitary purposes. It is essential that these jobs be performed prior to the shut-off time indicated above.
Veolia will drop off one case of water at each affected resident, from 4pm – 6pm Thursday, July 28th. Prior to disrupting water service.
