Woman Charged In New London Pedestrian Death Won't Be Prosecuted
A woman who had been charged in a fatal New London accident was found not competent to face trial, according to a report.
NEW LONDON, CT — A New London judge has ruled that the driver in a crash that killed a man on Broad Street in 2020 will not be criminally prosecuted, according to The Day. Tiesha Clark, 36, was found unable to assist in her own defense and not competent to stand trial.
She was the driver in a Nov. 16, 2020 accident that led to the death of Patrick Furey, 59, of New London.
