Woman Thrown 30 Feet After Motorcycle Accident

New London Police responded to Bank Street in New London around 4 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 20, after a motorcycle and minivan were involved in an accident.

The woman riding the motorcycle sustained potential trauma of the head and an injury on her foot after being thrown approximately 30 feet away from the scene, NBC Connecticut reported.

The motorcycle reportedly collided with a Kia that was leaving a Bank Street parking lot. The driver of the motorcycle was transported to a hospital and then transferred to a different hospital.
