NEW LONDON, CT — A woman was unresponsive following a vehicle vs. pedestrian accident in New London on Monday night, police said.

Police responded to a report of a crash at Jefferson Avenue and McDonald Street at 7:23 p.m.

Police found an unresponsive woman lying in the road with apparent injuries.

She was taken to Lawrence & Memorial Hospital for treatment.
