Deans Mill Farm 

Built in the mid-1700s as a functioning livestock farm, Deans Mill Farm has gone through an evolution in recent decades. A full renovation of the historic buildings and rejuvenation of the surrounding 70+ acres has made the property into the incredible venue it is today. Deans Mill Farm now operates primarily as a private event space and five-room bed and breakfast tucked down a private road in Stonington, Connecticut. The New London Police and Fire Departments responded to a report of an injured female in the northbound lane of Montauk Ave near Alger Place, at approximately 9:41 p.m. Wednesday, May 20."Upon investigation, it appears that the female was walking her dog on Montauk Ave when she was possibly struck by some type of vehicle, causing her to be knocked to the ground," Deputy Chief Peter Reichard said in a press release.The woman sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to Lawrence and Memorial Hospital for treatment of her injuries, he said."The vehicle involved may be blue in color with possible fresh damage from the accident," Reichard said.Any witnesses or anyone with information regarding this accident contact the New London Police Department Detective Division at 860-447-1481 or submit an anonymous tip at Tip411, the text-a-tip line.
