Aquarion Completes Purchase of Litchfield Hills Water System in New Milford

Connecticut's top-rated water company adds customers

Aquarion Water Company today announced the completion of the purchase of a water system located in New Milford, Connecticut. The system, known as the Litchfield Hills system, was formerly owned by the Litchfield Hills Condo Association. It will serve approximately 50 new customers at Fordyce Court Road in downtown New Milford.

“We welcome our new customers in New Milford and look forward to providing them with safe, quality, dependable water service for years to come,” said Charles V. Firlotte, Aquarion President and CEO.

The Litchfield Hills system has been served by one well. This well will be abandoned and the Litchfield Hills customers will be connected to Aquarion’s existing New Milford system within a year.
