Want to brush up on your golf game or get out for a little rest and relaxation? Look no further! Join our weekly Tuesday night, men and women, 9-hole league. Golfers of all abilities are welcome. Greens and cart fees for 9 holes are included. Golf handicaps are not needed! Candlewood Valley Country Club's head golf professional, Scott Eckelman, PGA, will score the league weekly and you will get points for showing up!
Make-up rounds must be made up Monday-Thursday within 7 days of round, unless original round was cancelled due to weather.
Requirements: Each golfer will need to bring a set of clubs, however, there are rentals available.

<a href="https://judyblackpark.org/" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">The Judy Black Memorial Park and Gardens</a> is pleased to welcome <a href="https://www.stephaniehendersonpaintings.com/" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">Stephanie Lear Henderson</a> and her exhibition, “In Color,” hosted by KMR Arts, on view at the park beginning Friday, May 1. This show features the artist’s abstract paintings using simple forms and bold colors.
An opening reception will be held on Saturday, May 9 from 3 to 5 p.m. This event is free and open to the public.
Henderson’s paintings depict disciplined shapes with playful color combinations, drawing on the knowledge that color can influence human psychology, behavior, health and emotions. Her works focus on simplicity of form rendered in bold color combinations, tapping into the positive energy of those colors.&nbsp;&nbsp;
This show will remain on view through Sunday, May 31, 2026. Guitarist Walter Parks, longtime sideman to Woodstock legend Richie Havens, is fascinated by this historical music’s universal applicability and power. While he uses this repertoire to entertain, he also hopes to make a case for embracing the inescapable togetherness of races and cultures by performing this music in concert with his new group, The Unlawful Assembly.
