
Plant lovers and garden gurus are invited to The Judy Black Memorial Park and Gardens for their annual Gardenpalooza event on Saturday, May 16 from 10 am to 1 pm.
Local organizations, businesses, schools and individuals will be hosting a variety of garden-themed fun.
- “The New Beautiful: Gardening Trends You Need To Know" discussion panel at 11 am with Heather Liljengren, Tovah Martin, Barbara Paul Robinson and Richard Rosiello, moderated by Michelle Madden.
- Farmers and Cooks will be on site offering tasty ready-to-eat food for purchase featuring local ingredients.
- The Gunn Memorial Library will host a children’s craft.
- Certified Master Gardeners will be on hand to answer all your horticulture questions.
- Connecticut Gardner Magazine will be present with information.
- Washington Garden Club, Anderson Acres and Shepaug’s Ag Stem program will also be participating.
