Camp Cardinal

South Kent School, one of the nation’s leaders in sustainability education, will be hosting two sessions of a week-long, hands-on day camp on a real, working farm! Activities will include learning the basics of caring for animals and crops, learning how to organically garden and at the end of the week, producing wholesome, sustainable food.

South Kent is proud to invite young children between the ages of 5-12 the opportunity to see our Center for Innovation farm nestled between our main campus and Hatch Pond and utilize its resources to learn how to be environmentally conscious. Not only will the camp be educational, but lots of fun as well! The children will be able to interact with all kinds of farm animals, ranging from tiny chickens to oxen. They will also make arts and crafts with recycled products and have time to play outdoor games like softball and Frisbee.

First Session: June 20-24 Monday-Friday from 9am-3pm

Second Session: June 27-July 1 Monday-Friday from 9am-3pm

Cost: $275 (10% discount for siblings)
