Community Culinary School of Northwestern CT hosts National Eat Outside Day 2017
The Community Culinary School of Northwestern Connecticut in New Milford hosts second annual National Eat Outside Day on the Green - 8/31/17

New Milford, CT – The Community Culinary School of Northwestern Connecticut in New Milford will participate in its second annual celebration of National Eat Outside Day on Thursday, Aug. 31, 2017.
The School will prepare and provide a bagged lunch to-go or to be enjoyed on the Village Green from noon to 1 p.m. Diners are encouraged to bring their own blanket or chair for a picnic on the Green.
Diners can also enjoy music and other activities as part of the al-fresco celebration. The i95 Rock (95.1FM) radio station van and road crew will be on hand with music and giveaways. Acclaimed local author Nan Rossiter will be signing copies of her latest novel, Summer Dance, as well as some of her previous titles. Kaitlin Clark of Integrative Healing Arts will also provide Reiki sessions. Attendees can also participate in drawings for additional prizes.

All proceeds from the event will support the Community Culinary School's job training and placement programs.
This event seeks to celebrate and bring together the local community in a casual, fun environment. Local businesses are encouraged to network and bring promotional materials to display on a provided community table.

Lunch is $15, which includes three delicious sandwich options served with chips, an apple, a homemade cookie and water. Participants can also make a donation to the Community Fund, which provides a meal to an individual in need in the local community through the New Milford Food Bank.
