Fortress Lynn Deming: New Milford To Secure Park Before Summer
The new security is regarded as a means to protect the $1.2 million investment made in the park's recent renovation.

NEW MILFORD, CT — The Town Council and Mayor Pete Bass are making good on their pledge to increase security at Lynn Deming Park, the New Milford Spectrum is reporting.
On Monday, the council approved spending $70,500 from the Landfill Settlement Fund to shore up a number of the problems highlighted in the wake of last year's Independence Day celebration.
Highlights of the plan include no shortage of cameras, including ones positioned to record visitors' license plates, and gates at the entry and exit with technology that can track people's visits.
