New Milford Budget Public Hearing Set for Wednesday: Report
Residents will be able to comment on the town's proposed $102.5 million budget.

NEW MILFORD, CT — Town officials will be presenting a budget to residents during a public hearing Wednesday at New Milford High School, reports the News Times.
The $102.5 Million budget proposal allots $39.2 million for the town and $63.3 million for the schools. Taxes are set to increase by about 1.87 percent, or $27.25 per every $1,000 of assessed valuation under the proposal.
The hearing will be held at 7 p.m. Wednesday.
