New Milford Residents Rankled Over Budget Cuts
The finance board will meet again tonight for further deliberation and final budget approval.

NEW MILFORD, CT --- Residents took to the podium in protest Monday night to express their displeasure at the Town Council's cuts to the 2018-19 budgets submitted by both the school board and the town.
The school board had requested a $64.3 million budget. That was $1.4 million more than what the council approved, and 2.34 percent more than the current year's budget.
The finance board will meet again tonight for further deliberation and final budget approval.
