New Milford VNA Gets Sponsorship from GoodWorks Insurance for June Event
"Moonlight, Blues & Barbeque" features live music and great food - 6:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m., June 23, at Candlelight Farms Inn in New Milford

NEW MILFORD—Moonlight, Blues & Barbecue, a fundraiser for the New Milford Visiting Nurse Association, will be sponsored in part by GoodWorks Insurance, which recently donated $5,000.
“GoodWorks Insurance has stepped up to help make this fun event very successful,” said New Milford VNA Executive Director Andrea Wilson. “They’re model members of the local business community, and serving as a premier sponsor shows that.”
The VNA provides free care to people who aren’t covered by Medicare or other insurance. An independent insurance agency in New Milford, GoodWorks gives half of its operating profits to local charities that support education, healthcare and public safety.

“We’re proud to support this wonderful community asset,” said James Kick, senior vice president at GoodWorks Insurance. “I look forward to seeing many of our friends enjoying barbecue and music.”
A night of cool music, dancing, delicious libations and barbecue, Moonlight, Blues & Barbecue will be held at 6:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m., June 23, at Candlelight Farms Inn in New Milford.
