Northeastern Young Lumber Execs and Lumber Dealers Association of Connecticut perform community service activity at Danbury home

Sometimes you just need a face lift. That was the case at the Rowan Street homes that Housatonic Habitat built in 2002. Thanks to 9 volunteers from the Northeastern Young Lumber Execs (NYLE) and Lumber Dealers Association of Connecticut (LDAC), four Housatonic Habitat homes had their back porches repaired and then painted.

Northeastern Young Lumber Execs (NYLE) was founded in 1986 and is sponsored by the Northeastern Retail Lumber Association (NRLA. Members of NYLE include yard and sales personnel to managers and owners who have or whom are seeking to make a career within the lumber and building material industry. Members of the crew came from Howe Lumber of East Brookfield, MA, Oxford Lumber of Oxford, CT, Russin Lumber of Montgomery, NY, Northeast Building Supply of CT, NY and NJ. Brush with Kindness project executive, Kent Rohrer of Ridgefield, coordinated the work.
