Truck Crashes into New Milford Deli: Report
It's the second time this week a vehicle crashed into an area building.
NEW MILFORD, CT — A truck crashed into a building this afternoon. There were no injuries reported, according to a report in the News-Times.
The crash at the Midway Market & Deli at 88 Park Lane Road is the second such vehicle-versus-building incident this week in the area. It comes two days after an SUV ended up inside King's Breakfast & Lunch in Newtown after it was cut off by another driver.
There was less velocity in play this afternoon, however. The report indicates the truck was left in the wrong gear while parked in the lot, and ran over a cement tire stop into the building. The window was shattered, and the brick facade bruised.
