WCSU Alumni Make Feature Movie

Local film crew made up of WCSU grads make a feature film, also being filmed in CT.

A film crew made up of all local WCSU grads have begun to make a movie, also being filmed in Connecticut, under Brittany Nisco Productions, LLC. They just launched a Kickstarter to raise funds for production, and the online campaign goes until the end of May.

The movie is called Wandering Off and it deals with family dynamics when faced with a crisis, specifically siblings who are still holding onto decades of tension. Their past continually creeps in as they try to understand not only what has happened to their parents, but who they are now and who they thought they would be. Their parents, on the other hand, are obliviously blissful… and nowhere to be found.

The crew, made up of Brittany Nisco (New Milford), Grant Kettner (New Milford), Travis Golino (New Milford), John Murray (Brookfield), Connor Misset (Brookfield), and Andrew Hopkins (Trumbull), all graduated from WCSU’s Media Production major, and decided the time was right to make their first collective feature film. This movie was featured as “crowdfund of the week” by Cultural Weekly. Their goal is to raise $50,000 on their Kickstarter before the end of May, ensuring that they can cover all production expenses.
