Alex Jones Accused of Deleting Evidence in Sandy Hook Lawsuit

Jones has previously asked the court to dismiss the lawsuits, and the judge is scheduled to hear arguments on that motion on Aug. 30.

NEWTOWN, CT — InfoWars radio host Alex Jones is being accused of destroying records he was ordered by the court to preserve as part of a defamation suit brought against him by a Sandy Hook resident, The News Times has reported.

Neil Heslin, Leonard Pozner and Veronique De La Rosa -- parents who lost children in the 2012 Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting -- filed a $1 million defamation suit against Jones, who has alleged that the massacre was a hoax employing "crisis actors" to portray distraught parents and residents.

The new motion from the plaintiffs argues that “the most severe sanctions” are needed because Jones deleted videos and tweets “with the purpose of concealing relevant evidence.”
