NEWTOWN, CT — Route 25 is closed near Tractor Supply in Newtown following a motor vehicle crash, according to police.
The Newtown Police Department announced the closure in a Facebook post Thursday, Sept. 24, warning drivers to expect heavy delays in the area.
Police advised motorists to seek alternate routes and estimated the closure would last about an hour and a half.
Additional details about the crash, including whether anyone was injured, were not immediately available.
