Angel and Tigger are Newtown Pets of the Week
The two are available for adoption at the Newtown Animal Control Shelter.
The Newtown Animal Control Shelter has many pets available for adoption. Here are the two pets of the week.
Angel
This girl is well-named: she is truly an angel. After suffering serious neglect; she and several other animals were rescued and brought to various shelters. But they had to wait 2 years until a court case was settled, and then she became available for adoption. Not one to hold a grudge, Angel loves people and she has waited patiently for the right human to come and give her a real home. She loves to walk and is a very clean dog. She is older, but she can still give you a run for your money! Angel is fond of children, attention and treats. She is also happy to sleep at your feet, (or on them, if necessary…). Angel has a calm and happy demeanor, and will do best as an only pet. Please inquire about the possibility of becoming Angel’s ‘Foster Parents’. As with all of the animals at the Brian J. Silverlieb Animal Care and Control Center, Angel is spayed and current with all medical needs.

Let’s talk about ‘Man’s Best Friend’: Tigger would be a loyal, obedient and happy addition to your home. He is an 80lb mixed breed with a great disposition. Tigger is an active and intelligent dog. He was found wandering about in Newtown; and started basic training as soon as he came to the Shelter. Tigger proved to be a quick learner - he has mastered basic obedience and has mucho respect for humans. A great dog, and a great friend; Tigger deserves a great ‘forever home’.
As with all of the animals at the Brian J. Silverlieb Animal Care and Control Center, Tigger is neutered and current with all medical needs.
