PEACHWAVE — This frozen yogurt parlor is one of the many trendy spots sprouting up all over the country, such as Menchie's and Swizzles. The self-service model lets customers choose from more than a dozen flavors of frozen yogurt, mixing them as they please, and paying by the weight rather than the size of the cup.

Although the yogurt ranges from fat free to low fat, the toppings can add a bit of decadence. Along with nuts, fresh fruit and granola, the shop also offers tasty candy bar, cookie and sprinkle toppings, along with a variety of dessert sauces. Also available are non-dairy and sugar-free flavors.

Peachwave opened where former ice cream store Dippin' Dots was located in Bethel's Dolan Plaza. The frozen yogurt shop has already earned fans not only in Bethel, but from the surrounding towns as well.

Peachwave is located at 213 Greenwood Ave., Bethel, 203-917-4481. Hours are daily, noon - 10pm.
