Using Technology for Extreme Couponing
Technology can assist you in finding coupons and deals at stores. Learn about several websites that can get you started in extreme couponing!
When economic times get tough more people start getting serious about couponing. Rather than stocking up on the Sunday paper, there are less expensive ways to maximize your coupon efforts.
First and foremost make sure you know you store’s policy regarding coupons – what they will accept, double and combine.
OK, this is a tech blog, so why talk about coupons? There are sites that can assist you with this. The one I use most is Livingrichwithcoupons.com. This site lists many stores and coupons. What they seem to do better than other sites is they will match up your coupons with the sales! They provide links to manufacturers coupons. And, if you shop at a store that gives cash back or “Catalina” deals (OK, I didn’t know that one either! It’s those coupons that are generated when you purchase something else – like at Stop & Shop-the machine that prints them out is called Catalina!) it tells you what you need to buy to get those coupons or cash back.

Living Rich with Coupons also walks you through the basics of couponing. It explains the lingo – BOGO, Catalina, ECB, RR and more. It shares the secrets of saving at Walgreens and CVS. It also helps you with the organization of couponing.
If you have your favorites be sure to share them! Other coupon websites are: Couponcabin.com, CouponMom.com, thekrazycouponlady.com. All will send weekly deals to your email!
