LET'S HAVE ANOTHER LABOR DAY WEEKEND NEWTOWN REUNION IN 2025! Members of PANACEA band have hosted a free annual Panacea & Friends Reunion since reuniting for the 2013 "Great Newtown Reunion, a Day of Healing," in remembrance of those lost in the Sandy Hook Elementary School tragedy. It's an excellent way to reconnect with old friends, and with the Labor Day Parade on Main Street the next day, it's the perfect summer's end. As always, it's free, rain or shine, live music 2:00-6:00 at Dickinson Memorial Park Pavilion, with Panacea & Friends. Crazy TexMex will be serving cold beverages and great menu items all day. Bring nonperishables for Panacea's Bridget Seaman Memorial Food Pantry Drive. This year, there's a benefit raffle for a 1-year subscription to the Newtown Bee, all proceeds donated to the food pantry, tickets $5, cash/check. Also, this year, we welcome the Newtown High School Class of 1975, celebrating their 50th Reunion! (And we thank them for paying rent for the pavilion for this event.) Be ready for some FUN!
