Community-Wide Tag Sale to Benefit Non-Profits - June 11

On Saturday, June 11th, the Newtown Congregational Church is sponsoring a free community-wide tag sale for non-profit organizations. Individuals are also invited to participate. This will be held in the paved parking lot of the Church at 14 West Street, Newtown. A table and chair will be assigned to all participants. The purpose of this sale is to benefit charitable organizations by those who participate sharing a percentage of their proceeds from the sales to a non-profit of their choice. This is a great opportunity to turn your "treasures" into cash.

All sellers are asked to arrive between 9 and 9:30 am to set up. Sales will begin at 11 am and end at 3 pm. Spaces and tables will be numbered and assigned as reservations are made. We are looking at this effort to be successful for all. Non-profits are under a difficult time right now and are hard-pressed for fundraising. The money shared will go to support the numerous organizations that receive support from all who choose to participate.
