With more than 5,400 square feet above grade plus a large finished lower level, the home is marketed as offering unmatched space and presence for local buyers seeking luxury.
   

• Developer redraws controversial 300-unit project in Newtown around breeding pool for frogs and fairy shrimp (nhregister.com) — A 300-unit apartment proposal off Route 6 in Newtown, including 90 affordable units, is headed into an October 14 wetlands hearing after plans were redrawn around a protected breeding pool for frogs and salamanders. While the Planning and Zoning Commission previously denied the rezoning, the developer is simultaneously pursuing a court appeal and environmental approvals under Connecticut's affordable housing law, keeping the project very much alive.
