
A JOINT NETWORKING EVENT FOR THE AREA’S LEADING BUSINESS ORGANIZATIONS.
The Chamber of Commerce of Newtown will be hosting its 3rd Annual Wine Tasting networking event on Thursday, June 2nd from 5:30 to 8:00 pm at McLaughlin Vineyards. Members from the Newtown, Bethel, Brookfield, Danbury, Monroe and Tribury Chambers are encouraged to attend. Other organizations and individuals who have been invited are the Economic Development Commission, BNI from Newtown, SCORE, Newtown Rotary Club and Pat Llodra, First Selectman of Newtown.
Guests will have the opportunity to sample McLaughlin Vineyards’ finest wines, while casually networking with the area’s leading business organizations. Appetizers will be provided by Andrea's Pastry Shop, Blue Colony Diner, Butcher's Best Market, Carminuccio's Pizza, Franco's Pizza, Iron Bridge Restaurant, Mona Lisa Restaurant, My Place Restaurant, Newtown Deli & Catering, One Eyed Pig, Sal e Pepe Contemporary Italian Bistro, The Meathouse, The Inn at Newtown, UK Gourmet and The Villa Restaurant.

The relaxing atmosphere will be complimented by decorations from Newtown Florist and a string ensemble, featuring Violinist, Lindsey Jones and Guitarist, Yossi Karmen-Glaser. Guests will be invited to participate in a raffle with prizes provided by McLaughlin Vineyards and Newtown Florist.

Tickets are $15 in advance and $20 at the door, space permitting. A cash wine bar will be available after the wine tasting.
McLaughlin Vineyards is a year-round farm dedicated to the production of quality wines and maple syrup in a natural environment. Located in Southern Connecticut, the 160 acre historic operation includes 15 acres of vineyards, a 2500 case winery, hiking trails, wine education seminars, a sugar house, sugar maple trees, and even a 50 acre wildlife and bald eagle sanctuary.
The Chamber of Commerce of Newtown is dedicated to the promotion and encouragement of Newtown’s business community. It actively supports the expansion of business opportunities on behalf of its members through marketing, networking programs, community-sponsored events, and involvement is local economic development.
