Family Fun Fest in Newtown: Details, Food Trucks and More

NEWTOWN, CT — For the second year in a row, the United Jewish Center of Danbury and Merryhill Child Care Center in Newtown will be co-hosting a Family Fun Fest and Craft Fair. This year, the event will be held at Newtown High School.

Over 4000 attended last year's event at the Fairfield Hills campus, and all proceeds will directly benefit children in both organizations.

The event will feature live entertainment, children's activities food trucks and more.

Details

The Family Fun Fest will be held on Sunday, May 21 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Newtown High School in Sandy Hook. Residents from Newtown and surrounding communities are welcome.

Activities

Local dance and fitness studios will be providing demonstrations throughout the day. For the children, there will be face painting, touch-a-truck, sand art, crafts, obstacle courses and more. The festival organizers are also expecting over 50 vendors to attend the event.
