Nacewicz Part of Governor's Cup Win
Max Nacewicz, who had a good Governor's Cup game, is headed to Springfield College where he will play football.

Max Nacewicz played in the prestigious Governor's Cup All-Star game Saturday as a linebacker.
This is the 13th year the game has been held between Connecticut and Rhode Island and it was the ninth time the Nutmeg State won, by a crushing score of 37-6. Connecticut has dominated the series since 2002.
Nacewicz has had an excellent football season at Newtown, racking up 55 solo tackles and scoring five touchdowns, football coach Steve George said. Nacewicz will attend Springfield College in the fall where he will play football and major in exercise science.

Nacewicz also has had a good year as part of the Newtown lacrosse team. He was named to the South-West Conference First Team as well as Second Team All-State in lacrosse.
