Rising property taxes is a continuing and pressing concern. An increasingly challenging economic
climate at the state level makes this a top priority. I intend to increase scrutiny over spending
to ensure that we continue to invest in our Town, but do so in a way that is
smart and makes sense long term.
What are the critical differences between you and the other candidates
seeking this post?
I have served on the Board of Finance longer than any other candidate currently running. My direct involvement in finance matters for the last four years informs my "big picture" perspective. Given the turnover on this board in the last two terms, continuity is important and I can provide that.

Economic investment in a community should never stop and my intent is to push projects forward that add value to the community without overburdening the taxpayers.
What accomplishments in your past would you cite as evidence you can handle this job?
Approximately two years ago, I left a comfortable position as a new partner
in an established law firm to form a new law firm. That move propelled me into areas of law
firm management that were completely new for me. Through hard work, research and seeking out the right advice, I helped to make my current firm a successful one.
The best advice ever shared with me was ...
You can't always be right, but you can always be reasonable.
What else would you like voters to know about yourself and your positions?
I am a hard working and driven individual. I am a full time litigation attorney in a small firm involved in the daily management of the practice. In addition to my tenure on the Board of Finance, I make time to stay involved in my children's Greek School Parent Teacher Organization as an Executive Board Member. I am also a member of my Church's Parish Council. But above all
this, I am a mom who enjoys nothing more than popping open a camping chair on a field to watch my son play baseball or my daughter play lacrosse.
