Newtown Citizen's Police Academy Begins March 30
The 10-week session is open to Newtown residents and highlights various aspects of police work.

NEWTOWN, CT-- The 2016 Newtown Citizen Police Academy, a 10-week informational program for town residents and employees, begins on March 30, 2016.
The 10-week session highlights various aspects of police work including, the hiring process, patrol work, use of force, forensic investigations, motor vehicle law, gangs and more. The informal session offers discussions on current police-related topics.

Presentations are given by Newtown Police Officers and area law enforcement professionals. Classes start on March 30 and meets on Wednesdays from 6 p.m. - 9 p.m.
