Newtown Man Charged With Spray-Painting Bridges, Drug Possession: Police
The man and another Newtown man are accused of spray-painting graffiti on bridges on the railroad property

NEWTOWN, CT — Two men were arrested in Newtown after admitting to spray painting graffiti on bridges on the railroad property, according to Newtown Police
Police investigated after hearing that two men were walking around the intersection of Daniel's Hill Rod and Parmalee Hill Road Friday and heard the sound of spray paint cans. According to the police report, the two men admitted to spray painting graffiti on some of the railroad property's bridges.
John Ryan Carroll, 20, of Brookfield was later found to be in possession of marijuana and marijuana paraphernalia. Jacob Enriquez, 20, was also found with an unidentified controlled substance and drug paraphernalia.

Carroll was charged with simple trespassing of railroad property, damage to railroad property, possession of drug paraphernalia and marijuana possession under 0.5 ounces. Enriquez was charged with four counts of controlled substance possession, two counts of possession of drug paraphernalia, simple trespassing of railroad property, damage to railroad property and three counts of a controlled substance not kept in the original container.
Both are due in Danbury Superior Court on March 7.
